Johnson Screen Tube also named wedge wire screen tube, wrapped wire tubes, wire wrapped screen pipe, wire wrapped screen pipe,are manufactured by a v or wedge shaped wire around an internal array of longitudinal support rods.Each intersecting point of these wires is fusion welded,so it has sturdy constriction and good mechanical property.The wedge-shape section plane can avoid blockage,and make sure of the unimpeded water. Slot tubes can be provided with the necessary endpieces for attachments and/or reinforcements. We can supply wedge wire slot tubes to many varied specifications including custom made end fittings to suit your application.

Filter direction

FOTI – FITO

The direction of the filtering flow is determined by the position of the surface profiles in relation to the support profiles. Wedge wire tubes are either flow out to in (FOTI) or flow in to out (FITO).

Slot size: 20 micron to 3000 micron (Tolerance:±5 micron),etc.
Filtering Direction: Outside to inside and inside to outside Filtering Direction
End connections: welded end rings (plain beveled ends for butt welding), threaded male and female coupling (spiral), flanged
Packing: in wooden cases, boxes lined with waterproof material.
