Johnsonslot Screen Tubes (also known as wire-wrapped screen pipes or wedge wire cylinders) are engineered for superior solid-liquid separation. Manufactured by helically wrapping a continuous V-shaped profile wire around an internal array of longitudinal support rods, each intersection is resistance fusion welded to create a high-strength, single-unit construction. The precision wedge-shaped (V-wire) section creates a tapered opening that widens inwardly, providing a non-blinding surface that ensures unimpeded flow and maximum screening efficiency. We provide fully customized slot tubes with specialized end-fittings, reinforcements, and flanges to suit your specific pressure requirements and installation environments. | |||||||||
Johnson Screen Tube are commonly used as screening components in a variety of industries to provide screening and filtration of solids or liquids. Wedge wire screen tubes are constructed of V-shaped wires and support rods. These screen tubes are used in a variety of applications including water treatment, oil and gas industry, food and beverage production, mining, and environmental protection.
Material: stainless steel SS304, SS316, SS316L SS321，S32205，S32750 Hastelloy and other metal alloy wires
Tube diameter: 1 inch to 48 inch
Surface Profile: 10-SLT，12-SLT，18-SLT，or other size
Support rods : SLT-22，SLT-25，SLT-35，or other size
Slot size: 20 micron to 3000 micron (Tolerance:±5 micron),etc.
Filtering Direction: Outside to inside and inside to outside Filtering Direction
End connections: welded end rings (plain beveled ends for butt welding), threaded male and female coupling (spiral), flanged
Packing: in wooden cases, boxes lined with waterproof material.
