In starch production process, it is used to separate starch from germ and fiber, and is an important process in starch production.

The pressure arc screen is a static and efficient screening equipment. It separates and grades wet materials by pressure. Its screen surface is processed by special processing methods and is highly polished. The screen surface is smooth and even. The screen wire has a sharp edge and extremely high wear resistance. Working Principle of DSM Sieve Bend Screen

The starch emulsion is sprayed from the nozzle to the screen surface at a certain pressure and a certain spray speed. The starch emulsion is sprayed to the screen surface along the tangent direction of the arc screen surface, and then quickly spreads, evenly covers the screen surface and quickly flows through the screen surface. The flow direction of the starch emulsion is at right angles to the screen slit.

The starch emulsion is subjected to the combined effects of centrifugal force, impact force, gravity and the cutting force of the screen wire edge on the starch emulsion on the concave arc screen surface.

The wedge-shaped screen wire is like a sharp knife. Under the starch emulsion, the starch emulsion impacts the sharp blade of the screen wire. The starch is scraped into a thin liquid layer. The liquid layer and fine particles quickly pass through the narrow and small screen slits and enter the bottom flow to form the undersize; while part of the liquid layer and coarse particles flow through the screen surface, become the oversize, and flow out from the overflow port.
